South Drive
Renovation and reconfiguration of a five bedroomed house in Chorltonville, South Manchester. The clients were undertaking the complete renovation of the house which had been untouched for years. We were hired to help with design for the kitchen dining space and all bathrooms.
The design for the kitchen and dining room was focused around creating a warm, social space for the family and for entertaining with a large island as the central feature. The design was classic in style, including shaker kitchen cabinets but with a colourful flavour for a young family to enjoy.
The kitchen was given a bold feel with Farrow & Ball Stiffkey Blue cabinetry and blue patterned Bert & May tiles which continue around the wall next to the island. The quartz waterfall edged island and copper hammered sink also add character to the space. The taller cabinets are in lighter Purbeck Stone and corporate the double ovens, a larder and a full height integrated fridge and freezer. In the attic bathroom we used scallop tiles in different blues to create a dramatic look combined with gold brassware and a simple white sink area.
