Whalley Range Kitchen

Renovation of a family kitchen in a five bedroomed house in Whalley Range, South Manchester. The owners were planning to knock through from a small kitchen into the adjacent dining room to create a large open plan area for modern family living.

The scheme focused on the use of pinks and greens to create a space that felt tranquil with unexpected pops of colour and pattern throughout.

The bespoke plywood kitchen has been painted in Little Greene Rubine’s Ashes, a soft grey with a hint of mauve and is contrasted with oak veneer to break up the lines and give a softer look. The background colour is Wevet by Farrow & Ball with accents in Little Greene Ambleside and Hellebore.

The pendants over the peninsula are a vintage find from Skinflint Lighting and the worktops are a combination of practical and beautiful white quartz with a soft grey vein and oak to bring more warmth into the room. Copper accents in the cabinet rails and the kitchen tap complete the look.
