Chatham Road

Interior scheme for a 5 bedroomed family home in South Manchester. This 1920s property had been through many different lives in its 100 year history including a bombing during the Second World War and a stint as a house for young offenders. The aim was to unpick the layers and design a house which highlighted the original features whilst also incorporating mid-century elements, creating a home that works for the whole family.

The scheme focused on creating spaces that are both stylish and fun to live in.

The design of the new tiles in the hallway creates a dramatic entrance and this effect is echoed elsewhere including in the dark tones of the Master Bedroom and the yellow used in the Family Bathroom.
