Heaton Norris Apartment
Renovation of a 2 bedroom apartment in Heaton Norris, Stockport. The owner initially briefed on a contemporary update for an apartment which had not been renovated for over 10 years. During the course of the project the owner decided to relocate and keep the apartment as a rental property.
The project included a complete renovation of the whole property including new flooring, a new kitchen, removing a wall between bathroom and WC and installing a new suite, and redecoration and new lighting throughout. The scheme aimed to create a simple but stylish apartment which would appeal to the young professional market in the area.
New laminate flooring was installed throughout the property and the kitchen was replaced with a matt white Howdens kitchen with concrete-style worktop and vertically-stacked tiling. Neutral Farrow & Ball colours including Elephant’s Breath, Skimming Stone and London Clay were used throughout, including in the bathroom where the darker London Clay brings warmth to the concrete and terrazzo style tiling. Accents of black add a contemporary touch and add highlights throughout.
