Westerly

Interior scheme for the internal remodel of a four bedroomed house based in Alderley Edge, Cheshire.  This 1970s era house was set in a beautiful location with views overlooking the Cheshire countryside from all floors.  The owners wanted to completely renovate the house which retained most of its original 1970s finishes for a simple and elegant finish that also gave a cheeky nod to its origins.

The scheme aimed to create a palette of warm and inviting neutrals which would provide a backdrop for feature lighting, 1970s inspired wallpaper and pops of colour throughout with statement tiles and furnishings.

The design makes the most of the natural light brought into the property by new windows and doors throughout, utilising dramatic dark tones in the kitchen units and in the bathrooms combined with the softer feel of the Amtico flooring.  Elements including quartz kitchen worktops and a statement log burner ensure that the house feels luxurious yet homely.
